Dear Parents, Language Learners and Teachers
We take the health and welfare of everyone at the Persian Language
School WA and our community, very seriously.
We are closely monitoring developments surrounding COVID-19 and
its impact on the community, remain vigilant following the advice of the
Department of Health and will continue to act immediately in accordance with
their rulings, guidance and advice.
Our school continues to operate as normal and our academic
calendar is unchanged. However, our online learning system is also ready, so that just
in case if WA government consider closing all schools at some point (ie. term 3
or 2), we are ready to run all our language classes online (LIVE, REAL-TIME), and ensuring there
would be no disruption to our students’ learning.
Until then, we would like to reassure you by advising of the extra
precautionary measures we have put in place as we continue to operate as usual.
These reinforced precautionary measures are:
- Disinfecting
of all hard surfaces including doors, handles, tables, chairs, etc.
- Signage
reinforcing health guideline like hand washing and sneezing/coughing
etiquette.
- Avoidance
of any person with cold or flu-like symptoms.
- Encouraging
teachers and staff to reconsider travel to high or moderate risk
destinations, as recommended by the Australian Department of Health.
- Advising
anyone with flu-like symptoms to self-isolate and seek medical
advice.
We also request everyone; if have recently travelled overseas or have had contact with
anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or if feeling unwell,
particularly if manifesting flu-like symptoms, in the interests of containing
the virus, please do not visit us until you have been tested or have recovered.

Persian

provide any important updates as soon as they are available. Lastly, thank you
