7. Matching PLSWA Materials with VCE Persian Syllabus

A document, matching the PLSWA teaching materials (the books First Step Persian, Mina 1, Mina 2, Mina 3 & Mina 4) with the VCE Persian syllabus has been developed, proving the fact that PLSWA curriculum (particularly the four main books of Mina 1 to Mina 4) covers the content required by the Persian study design (VCE Persian Syllabus Units 1-4) developed by “Collaborative Curriculum and Assessment Framework for Languages (CCAFL)”.

8. Persian Language Tuition for ATAR

Communicating with the “School Curriculum and Standards Authority”, it has been approved that Persian Language School Western Australia (as the main providers of Persian language tuition in WA) could prepare the students for the final examinations and enrol them as non-school candidates when they are in Year 12. This can contribute to their ATAR and would currently also attract the LOTE bonus.

Yours sincerely
