Daramad Quartet explores the confluence between the music of the Middle East and improvised jazz and features Iranian Saz and guitar maestro, Reza Mirzaei, oud and eastern percussion specialist, Michael Zolker, double bassist, Phil Waldron and multi-reedman, Mark Cain. The group draw on their improvisational skills, combined with the broader influence of various Middle-Eastern classical and folk traditions.
